BTS RM Dating History

There have been several rumors about BTS RM being in a relationship. In particular,  it is said that he is already married and even has kids. But BIGHIT MUSIC shut down those rumors.

But RM once confessed that he had a girlfriend, and even shared the reason they broke up.

When he appeared on an episode of "Problematic Men" back in 2015, the "Wild Flower" singer revealed that he had a girlfriend and that he was not dating anyone at the time.

The interviewer then asked BTS RM to share the reason why he broke up with his girlfriend.

RM said, "There was a girl that I dated in high school, four to five years ago. A relationship is something that you can't really define. But to put it into perspective, it is as if a circle and a triangle are trying to become a square and we didn't match well in that process."

In other words, RM and his girlfriend had plenty of things they didn't match on, and those greatly affected their relationship.

He added that his then girlfriend had a lot of guy friends at the time. While he doesn't consider this a problem at present, it did bother him when he was still young. He also shared that his girlfriend committed a lot of acts he deemed as unacceptable.

"To be honest, having a lot of guy friends isn't a problem. But in my circumstances and from my point of view before, it wasn't. She also did things that were unacceptable as a girlfriend," the rapper stated.

BTS RM further revealed that he broke up with his girlfriend because they had a lot of arguments due to disagreements as well. All this fighting led to the idol not being genuine about his feelings for the girl anymore, so they decided to end their relationship.

The rapper shared, "And so we continued to argue and if things continued like this, I figured this would have an effect on my pure feelings for her, so we ended things."

BTS RM's Current Relationship Status & Ideal Type

So far, there aren't any reports nor rumors about RM seeing anyone special. He himself has not revealed anything to the public about him being in a relationship. This could only mean that he is single as of this writing.

But, the BTS leader has been open about his ideal type in the past. He wants someone who is both smart and feminine. He also would like it if she had a sexy and nice voice and looks good in casual clothes.

Regarding physical features, the girl should be 166-170 cm tall since RM is tall. Also, her weight should be 60 kg. He also prefers a girl with long, straight hair.

Moreover, the girl he's looking for is someone who loves to read and has many ideas to offer, so he can talk and exchange ideas with her. He is into girls who take good care of their appearance and hygiene as well.

Lastly, BTS RM wants his girlfriend who would respect his privacy and personal things. He doesn't like it if the girl smokes or goes clubbing most of the time.
