JYPE Receives Flak For Vague Management — What Happened?

On the aftermath of Jinni's departure from NMIXX, the light shed to JYP Entertainment. Netizens flocked online, questioning the company's ethics, vague management, and suspected bad idol treatment.

JYP Entertainment Gets Slammed For Its Recurrent Idol Departures

On the online platform, fans pointed out JYP Entertainment's recent unpredictability. With Jinni gone from the group, people are noticing the company's inconsistency on maintaining idols.

They voiced out how Jinni's departure is just the tip of the iceberg. Fans proceeded to call out the agency's management, since there are previous cases of idols leaving JYP groups such as former Stray Kids member Woojin, Jay Park, and Jae from Day6 previously.

"It's interesting how the members they kick out are still promoting everywhere. I feel like they all got kicked out the same way."

"What's weird is the fact that they're erasing all traces of her. They don't want her to be associated with NMIXX at all, and they haven't done that with any other ex-member of their groups."

"No other company has done that, including the companies that kicked someone out because of vile and criminal things."

Netizens understand how normal it is for idols to leave a company, due to reasons such as contract expiration, or just simply opportunity exploration.

However, the 4th generation for is a different story for fans. They implied how a company should learn from their errors to prevent future mistakes. In this case of JYPE, fans noticed its constant idol departures, only to be given a vague explanation.  

People claimed that when an idol decides to leave a group or company, they usually write letters and publish it online for fans to see.

"Usually when a member leaves the group, they would post a hand-written letter, but she didn't. It feels too weird."

"One of my close friends is an NSWER, and she said that it has to be something really big?"

Toning Down Theories: NSWERs Neutralize Speculations Regarding Jinni's Departure

In the middle of the discussion, there are fans who suggested leaving Jinni alone may be the best decision. They concluded how speculating too much can make the situation worse, as well as harm Jinni's well-being.

"It might as well be something personal that led her to this choice. Speculating will only make it harder for her, with the theories you people come up with. I say we just let it be, let fans be upset, but tone down the theories."

"If they're keeping it vague, it's for her benefit in my opinion, especially since she's no longer a part of the group."
