Following KBS Gayo Daechukje, IVE Jang Wonyoung is facing criticisms for her action during the event. This time, she is being called out for being skipping THIS step.

On December 16, the 2022 KBS Gayo Daechukje was held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, presenting a star-studded lineup of performers.

Among K-pop idols who attended the event, IVE (comprised of An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo) was present.

During the red carpet segment, they heated up the broadcast as one of the most popular girl groups this 2022 with top visuals and idol skills. The members received praise for their angel-like beauty, wearing white 'fits.

IVE then completely set the stage ablaze once they opened the Part 3 of the KBS Gayo Daechukje, and showcased a Y2K-themed stage by performing their hits, "LOVE DIVE" and "After LIKE."

Amid fans' delight and applause, some scenes from the IVE stage earned attention. Some questioned the sincerity of the group's performance, particularly criticizing Jang Wonyoung.

Online, clips from IVE's performance circulated, showing Jang Wonyoung skipping the step where she must turn her head and flip her hair during the dance break. It was also noticeable since she was the only one who did not do it.

With this, people began criticizing the idol for her lack of sincerity to the performance. She is also being accused of being a "lazy" dancer.

DIVEs, IVE fandom, immediately jumped to Jang Wonyoung's defense, and explained her action on behalf of the celebrity.

Jang Wonyoung was the MC for the ceremony, which lasted for more than three hours with three parts. People argued that she was only maintaining her hairstyle since she still had to lead to program after their performance.

Secondly, they emphasized that the idol was being unfairly targeted since Rei also didn't turn her head during that certain step.

Lastly, if you will look at the whole performance, Jang Wonyoung gave her all, and it was noticeable that her movements were bigger in other parts of the performance.

Currently, the controversial article continues to draw attention, amassing more than 300 comments as of writing.

This is not the first time Jang Wonyoung was involved in controversy this December.

Earlier, she raised brows for refusing to bow to others. She was also criticized for wearing fancier and different outfits than other IVE members during 2022 AAA. 

Meanwhile, "Rookie Monster" IVE has continued its all-time record march, winning Grand Prize trophies from several award ceremonies such as MAMA, MMA and AAA.

On December 19, "LOVE DIVE" was also selected as the most loved music of the year released on the Korean music platform, Bugs.
