On December 21, BLACKPINK Jennie became a hot topic in various online communities and SNS after clips of her from the Jacquemus's after-party in Paris spead online.

The clips were taken on Dec. 14, wherein Jennie's free-spirited dancing and enjoying music with lots of people were shown. There, Jennie can be seen dancing on top of the podium. In another video, her voice can also be head as she was introducing herself.

Another clip showed her dancing with her arms up and smiling while hugging her acquaintance tightly. Jennie even shared smiles and kisses a person on the cheek, who is believed to be the French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, the owner of the fashion label.

When the clips spread like wildfire, Jennie immediately took the internet by storm.

Jennie is the ambassador for various luxury brands. Because of her influence, she even earned the moniker "Human Chanel." Dubbed as "It Girl," Jennie is popular for her overflowing charisma, rap skills, singing, and dancing abilities on stage. 

However, people were surprised that the 26-year-old celebrity is no different from others of the same age as her. People the began praising her for this side of her - her free-spiritedness - that she rarely shows.

Unfortunately, not everyone is pleased. Amid the praises she received, Jennie earned criticism for her actions during the party, and how "wild" she was partying overseas.

According to them, her outfits and gestures such as kissing a man on the cheek are concerning, given her popularity among all ages.

Although the clips were filmed seemingly without the idol's knowledge, they quickly circulated on numerous platforms. With this, people expressed concern to the younger generation who will see her footage partying.

Since Jennie is a role model to many people, including kids, some emphasize that her actions weren't "right."
