Fashion Editor Exposes (G)I-DLE Miyeon's True Personality

Recently, a famous fashion magazine editor attracted attention after uploading a post that revealed (G)I-DLE Miyeon's "true" personality.

In particular, the editor, who worked with the idol, wrote a story about her.

"As a fan, as a person who met her at work and as a human being, I thought about how a person could have so much love.

I've rarely seen a person full of white love in my life. Miyeon is the best."

Although the post is brief, Neverlands, (G)I-DLE fandom, claimed that this message summed up Miyeon's personality. People were particularly moved when the editor described the "TOMBOY" singer's love as "white love," which means the "purest" form of love, usually felt by people from parents.

K-pop fans also revealed their feelings on the matter.

"I'm a fan of Miyeon, and I think I know what white love means."
"Miyeon had a lot of beautiful stories (about her)."
"A really bright and lovely character."
"Even the editor left a comment like that."
"I'm a proud fan."
"I heard Miyeon even gave gifts to the staff around her this time."
"I can see that she's full of love just by watching the broadcast."

Miyeon, who debuted as a (G)I-DLE member in 2018, is widely recognized for her ethereal beauty, which makes her a 4th-gen visual representative.

But on top of this, she also established her name as an excellent vocalist, dancer, entertainer and actress, proving her skyrocketing career.

Despite her fame, the idol maintains her humility (basing on the the editor's story), and Miyeon garners praises for doing so.

This is not the first time that Miyeon received a positive anecdote about her.

In May, a parent of a struggling university student expressed gratitude to the idol after sending a gift and handwritten letter for her child.

What's heartwarming about the story was everything was done by the idol without cameras capturing her good deed, an evidence to her "white love."

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE truly made 2022 their year with successful consecutive releases.

This year, (G)I-DLE cemented their name as a quintet and enjoyed great popularity by releasing hit songs in the first and second half of this year.

In particular, their songs "TOMBOY" and "Nxde" became meaningful in that they directly challenged the stereotyped image of girl groups or easily raised prejudices.

"TOMBOY" showed a confident attitude with the lyrics, "Do you want a blond barbie doll? It's not here, I'm not a doll."

"Nxde," on the other hand, sarcastically emphasizes "the real self of an undecorated individual," not the "naked body."
