On January 5, ATEEZ made a guest appearance on the SBS power FM radio show "Cultwo Show," alongside Niel, a TEEN TOP solo artist.
On the program, San was also asked to clarify his he wore glove in his group's previous performance. The incident previously stirred discussion on forums, since the glove San wore made it seem like he was flashing his middle finger.
San clarified the controversial glove, and stated the hand sign is just a V sign.
However, wearing the glove makes the forefinger disappear, leaving only the middle finger in sight. San added that he had no intention of cursing people with the glove.
That was definitely not on purpose. It happened by mistake. The glove just contains the thumb and forefinger, and I usually wear it on stage. Sometimes, when wearing the glove, the forefinger vanishes when I make a V sign. I had no intention on cursing anyone!"

Afterwards, San made and unexpected suggestion, giving laughter to the room.
He first apologized towards fans who misinterpreted the hand sign.
As if the situation wasn't already funny enough, San added how it's okay for fans to give him the middle finger on a bad day!
"But I do feel extremely sorry for our fans who mistook the glove incident, so I personally would be cool if our fans occasionally gave me the middle finger once in a while!"
Aside from their performances, ATEEZ is also known for their genuine interaction with fans.
San took it on another level by being casual, and even making people laugh with the mishap!

ATINYs took their thoughts online, expressing how random San's remarks were. They stated how hilarious it was for San to make such a recommendation, especially on how nonchalant it was.
