January 2023 Brand Reputation Rankings For K-pop Idols Announced: NewJeans, IU, More!
On January 21, the Korean Business Research Institute has released the list of January 2023 brand reputation rankings for artists.
Through an amount of data gathered between December 21, 2022, and January 21, 2023, it was utilized to analyze the singers' media coverage, consumer involvement, and other activities which can be applied to their indexes.
There are a total of 30 artists who are included, but here are the top 5 who made on the list.
First up on the list is NewJeans which dominated January 2023 with a brand reputation index of 11,901,458. With this number, the girl group improved their score of 26.54 percent, surpassing their previous December record.
In second place, Lim Young Woong maintained his position with a brand reputation index of 9,062,863.
Meanwhile, BTS garnered a brand reputation index of 6,980,796 for January, earning them the third spot in the list.
BLACKPINK earned a brand reputation index of 5,874,066 earning them the fourth place. With the findings, they improved their December score with a 6.37 percent increase.
IU, whose brand reputation index has increased by 26.35 percent since December and brought her total score for January to 5,867,068 points, secured the fifth spot.
