10 Most Popular K-Pop Boy Groups for February 2023: BTS, SEVENTEEN, More
Since February is here, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced their brand reputation rankings!
Here are the Top 10 most popular boy groups for February 2023!
1. BTS
BTS dominated the brand reputation ranking list with a whopping 7,030,932 brand reputation index. In February, BTS got highly affiliated with keywords such as "concert film" which referred to their "Yet To Come" screening. Their positivity-negativity analysis summed a score of 80.73 percent positive responses.
2. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN improved their previous score in January with a 21.91 percent increase. They rose to the No. 2 spot for February, due to gaining a brand reputation index of 4,382,675.
3. NCT
With a brand reputation index of 3,827,415, NCT earned the No. 3 spot in the list.
4. EXO
EXO also joined the list with an index of 3,075,852, improving their previous January score by 9.62 percent. EXO member Baekhyun also made buzz due to his discharge from military service, and finally returning to the K-pop scene.
5. BIGBANG
BIGBANG secured the No. 5 spot for February with a brand reputation index of 2,638,578. The legendary act placed a 63.16 percent boost from their previous score in January.
6. TXT
TXT entered the list with an index of 2,336,904. Since the group was very active in promotions, it's understandable to have their place on the top 10.
They also released their mini album "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" and single "Sugar Rush Ride" in January, which led to numerous achievements in the music charts for February.
7. Super Junior
Super Junior amassed a brand reputation index of 2,224,729. They were considered since the members are active in solo endeavors involving variety show, social media updates, and releases.
8. THE BOYZ
THE BOYZ joins at No. 8, with an index of 2,151,709. The boy group created curiosity within online communities for their upcoming 8th mini album, "BE AWAKE." They have also released a trailer for their next release. Meanwhile, they are also active in making vlogs for fans.
9. MONSTA X
For February, MONSTA X gained a total score of 2,151,188. Since they published their latest comeback "Beautiful Liar" last January, fandom Monbebes surely went after the February content that followed its release. Those include behind-the-scenes content, and an upcoming DVD of their "NO LIMIT TOUR."
10. SHINee
To complete its Top 10, SHINee garnered a brand reputation index of 1,919,327. SHINee members received attention for their activities, such as Onew adding an extra date for his first solo concert "O-NEW-NOTE," and Key prepping for solo comeback "Killer."
