The Black Label Speaks Out on Former NMIXX Jinni Allegedly Signing With Them

The Black Label released a statement regarding to the circulating rumor about former NMIXX member Jinni signing with them.

Here's what the YG Entertainment sub-label said. 

The Black Label Addresses Rumor Regarding Former NMIXX Jinni Signing Contract With Them

On March 20, The Black Label released an official statement regarding the circulating report that the former NMIXX member Jinni has signed a contract under the agency. 

The rumor of Jinni's exclusive contract with the agency started in an online community, wherein fans claimed that Peter Chun, Promotions Director from The Black Label, followed Jinni on Instagram.

This situation turns out to be untrue. 

A representative from sub-label has finally addressed the rumor, saying:

"Rumors of an exclusive contract with Jinni are not true." 

Moreover, the agency dismissed the rumor that the artist might join the said agency.

The Black Label is a sub-label of YG's Entertainment. Teddy Park and Kush founded it in 2015. The Black Label is home to Somi, Zion T., BIGBANG Taeyang, and many more artists.

The rumor sparked when Jinni created an Instagram account on March 18. In a short period, she already garnered 1 million followers. Her first posted photo surpassed 1.16 million likes. This proves that despite the artist's absence for the past months, she still holds power and influence among the fans.

Despite the statement, many fans of the former NMIXX member are still looking forward to the artist's next move, whether she will debut in another group or as a solo artist.

Former NMIXX Member Jinni Launches Instagram 

The former NMIXX Jinni created an Instagram account on March 18. Due to this activity, fans were shocked and excited about Jinni's presence after she departed from NMIXX and JYP Entertainment last 2022 due to "personal reasons."

Jinni shared a gorgeous photo of her with the simple caption, "Hi." As she launches her Instagram account, many fans are hopeful about her return to the screen in any other form. She also used her stage name "Jinni" instead of her real name, "Choi Yun Jin."

Jinni joined in JYP Entertainment in 2016. The former NMIXX member trained for 6 years before she debuted in the group.

On the other hand, the six-members of NMIXX released their 1st mini-album "expérgo" together with the track entitled, "Love Me Like This."
