BIGBANG Daesung is confirmed to be singing under his new agency R&D Company.

BIGBANG Daesung Officially Joins New Agency R&D Company
On April 3, it was announced that Daesung of BGBANG has signed an exclusive contract with R&D Company.
In their announcement, the agency offered support for Daesung, who will join them for a fresh start on his music career and various fields.
Moreover, R&D Company also disclosed that Daesung will be accompanied by his longtime manager, who has been with him for the past 10 years since his BIGBANG days.
R&D Company is also known as the home for artists Chun Myung Hoon, KyoungSeo, Kisum, Navi, and many more.
Daesung will be given the chance to explore different fields and not just music. The agency will also support Daesung on his broadcasts, acting, musicals, and other activities the idol is passionate about.

BIGBANG Daesung Shares Emotional Handwritten Letter to VIPs
In other news, Daesung revealed his thoughts on a handwritten letter, which discussed his departure from YG Entertainment.
On January 2, the BIGBANG member uploaded a video titled, "One day, I got a mystery diary" on D'splay, his official YouTube account. In the video, Daesung pertained to a notebook, which revealed to be a letter to YG Entertainment.
Daesung expressed on the letter his gratefulness to YG, since the agency had given him the chance to develop as a person, and join BIGBANG. The idol also admitted he was uncertain of the future, but his courage to move forward remains.
To end the letter, Daesung stated that the phrase "Nothing lasts forever" may sometimes be wrong, since BIGBANG is one of the things that do last.
"With that thankfulness in the back of my heart, I'm ready to go on a new adventure. Thank you very much for taking care and growing with me for a long time, even if I was only young."
"I'm terrified, of course. However, I believe that this trembling sensation is nothing more than a courageous step worth taking towards the future."

Daesung left YG Entertainment on December 26, 2022, alongside fellow bandmate Taeyang. The two idols departed from the company after 16 years.
