In each K-pop era, there are always female idols competing for the position of the most beautiful star.

In the first-gen, there's S.E.S Eugene, Fin. K.L Sung Yuri, and V.O.X's Kan Miyoun, while there's SNSD YoonA, MissA Suzy and 2NE1 Dara from the second-gen. Lastly, there's BLACKPINK Jisoo, TWICE Tzuyu and Red Velvet Irene when talking about the third-gen era.

Currently, it is the heyday of the fourth-gen girl groups and some of the groups that drawing attention include aespa, IVE, NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM. Although each group has its representative visual member, two stars especially stood out best even among non-fans; IVE Jang Wonyoung and aespa Karina.

 Ever since their debut, both were garnering massive attention for their beautiful appearances which include their small faces, doll-like visuals and golden body ratio.

Although each fan and netizen definitely have their respective ideals and preferences, the debate on who's most beautiful is still on the roll.

Fans then raised their hands at Karina's visuals, saying that Karina is the prettiest.

Since she debuted with "Black Mamba" in 2020, the female idol immediately caught the eye with her CG-like features and proportion. As a matter of fact, she's even prettier than an actual CG!

On the other hand, opinions such as "Jang Wonyoung seems to be closer to the standard beauty image" and "Jang Wonyoung looks more colorful" were also written.

Jang Wonyoung, who initially earned popularity as an IZ*ONE member shocked netizens and fans when she transitioned from her bunny angel form to an "It Girl" when she debuted in IVE.

Losing her cheek fat, Wonyoung boasts a slimmer goddess-like face, not to mention her impressive physique and tall height despite her young age.

IVE & aespa Race For Position 4th-Gen 'Spring Queen' With Respective Comebacks

Aside from the two members competing for the No. 1 position of best visuals among fourth-gen idols, its respective groups were also competing for the position of "spring queen" with their upcoming releases.

After its successful first fan concert, "The Prom Queens" in February, IVE, to which Jang Wonyoung belongs is scheduled to release its first full-length album, "I've IVE" on April 10.

Ahead of its official comeback, the sextet initially dropped a pre-released track, "Kitsch" on March 27 which immediately topped all six major Korean charts, including domestic music sites MelOn, Genie, Bugs, FLO, Naver VIBE, and Korean YouTube Music, a week after its release. As of March 3, IVE officially achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) for the second time after its song, "After LIKE."

On the other hand, aespa, which includes Karina is also expected to challenge the "Spring Queen" position as they confirmed its much-awaited return to the music scene in May.

The anticipation for their release increased after establishing a stronger fandom power thanks to the success of its first solo concert, "2023 aespa 1st Concert 'SYNK: HYPER LINE."
