5 Most Popular K-pop Brand Models for April 2023 + See Full List!

The Korean Business Research Institute has announced their April brand reputation rankings for Korean artists who made headlines on certain brands.

Aside from artists' passion for producing music and entertaining audiences, they are also called upon in advertisements, where they promote products from a certain brand, may it be inclined with food, beverage, fashion, or services.

Since April kickstarted the second quarter of 2023, K-pop artists have become busier than ever in their endorsements. As for data coverage, the institute collected information from March 13 to April 13. The factors considered were derived from consumer participation, media exposure, communication, and social values.

Here are 5 most popular K-pop brand models for April 2023!

1. NewJeans

For the month of April, NewJeans secured once again the No. 1 spot in the advertisement model rankings. The group fought for their place with a 33.06 percent increase, leading to a brand reputation index of 2,256,007.

NewJeans also caught attention for their endorsement activities with Coca-Cola, which they also engaged musically with collab song "Zero." They also received 85.03 percent positive reactions from their positivity-negativity analysis.

2. Lim Young Woong

Top soloist Lim Young Woong claimed No. 2 due to a 58.73 percent increase, accumulating a brand reputation index of 2,000,867.

3. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK maintained their position in No. 3 with a brand reputation index of 1,608,061. Their April score was covered from a 4.87 percent increase, surpassing their previous March score of 1,533,410.

Since BLACKPINK have proven their popularity in their music and exposure, they are also well-loved with different fashion and brand, wherein they have received numerous deals. Member Jennie also caught attention on March 21 in a glamorous pictorial with Vogue.

4. BTS

BTS defended their place on No. 4, proving their prominence over the field of advertisement. Even though the members are going for their solo endeavors, it didn't stop them from joining the list's top place.

Their popularity was still secured due to their exposure in the advertisement department. To be specific, three members of BTS went viral for their endorsements. Jungkook stormed the internet with his confidence on Calvin Klein. Meanwhile, Jimin became the newest ambassador for Tiffany & Co., and RM signed a deal with Bottega Venetta.

5. IVE

Lastly, fourth-generation girl group IVE rounded the top five.
