ASTRO's Junior Group LUN8 To Debut in 1st Half of 2023– Here's Their Concept, Photos

On April 13, the first group profile of the idol group LUN8 has been released!

On this day, Jinsu, Ian, Junwoo, Takuma, Eunseop, Chael, Eunho and Dohyun gathered together for the first time through the group's identity film and profile photos, which were shared on its official social media platforms and YouTube channel.

The identity film, which was uploaded under the title "Showtime, LUN8," begins with the eight members sitting on a bench and talking. The team also flaunted their chemistry as they play on the sandy beach.

In particular, the video was reminiscent of a scene from a youth movie, where LUN8 flashed their bright visuals as they blow bubbles, run on the grassland, or enjoy fireworks as if their friendship is the only thing that matters the most.

According to Fantagio Entertainment, the concept of LUN8 will be "eight boys embracing the moonlight." As they will be the first boy group that the agency will introduce seven years after ASTRO, the group is already earning huge anticipation from K-pop fans.

Earlier, LUN8 also unveiled two versions of its group profile photos. The first one flaunted the team's pure visuals in white long sleeves and denim jeans; while the second one showed off their strong charisma by wearing tuxedos. With this, the photos hinted at the octet's desire to show their duality in the music scene.

Meanwhile, LUN8 is set to make its official debut in the first half of 2023, the exact date is yet to be confirmed.

1. Jinsu

Born in February 2003, Jinsu who was introduced as Pick&Roll is reportedly the leader and main vocalist of the group.

2. Ian

Ian, introduced as Buzzer Beater is a 03-liner Korean member. He first made his face known through Mnet's "I-Land."

3. Junwoo

The "Big Shoot" of the group Junwoo is the second member introduced as LUN8.

4.Takuma

Takuma is a Japanese member introduced as Run&Gun.

5.Eunseop

Eunseop is the "Bank Shoot" of the team.

6. Chael

Chael was introduced as "Lay-up Shoot."

7.Ji Eunho

He is the "fast break" of LUN8.

8. Dohyun

Dohyun was designated as the "free throw."
