BTS Jimin's 'Like Crazy' Spends 3 Consecutive Weeks on Billboard Hot 100

For the week ending on April 22, Jimin's retro craze "Like Crazy" has spent its third consecutive week on Billboard's Hot 100.

The song charted at No. 52, highlighting its strong popularity worldwide. Hot 100 ranks the most trending music releases in the United States, and contains Jimin's presence, who just became the second soloist to land a Korean song for three weeks straight, following PSY. On 2012 and 2013, PSY released "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" respectively.

Jimin also made a mark on different charts on Billboard. Furthermore, the idol became the first K-pop solo artist ever to spend three weeks on Billboard 200's top 25, with his solo debut album "FACE" having defended its position at No. 24.

The album also made three consecutive weeks on Billboard's World Albums chart at No. 1, Top Current Album Sales chart at No. 5, and Top Album Sales chart at No. 6.

"Like Crazy" also claimed No. 2 on Digital Song Sales and World Digital Song Sales charts. It also earned a spot at No. 10 on Global 200 and No. 8 on Global Excl. U.S. chart. Moreover, Jimin secured No. 14 on Artist 100, spending his fourth week on the chart.

On April 3, Billboard revealed their Hot 100 chart, which included Jimin's song "Like Crazy." The release debuted on the chart at No. 1, making Jimin the first Korean soloist to dominate the rankings, and giving his first-ever No. 1 for his solo career.

The data covered was from March 24 to 30, with "Like Crazy" having sold out 254,000 song downloads, CD singles, 10 million streams, and 64,000 radio airplay audience impressions. "Like Crazy" has gained the highest number since Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" in November 2022.

Before achieving this, Jimin entered Hot 100 with his pre-release song "Set Me Free Pt. 2" securing the No. 30 spot, as announced on March 28. "Like Crazy" is his second solo release to claim a place on the chart.

BTS Jimin's Album 'FACE' Enters Billboard 200, Makes Highest-Ranking Solo Debut

Meanwhile on April 2, Jimin's album "FACE" debuted on the Top 200 Albums chart. The album claimed the No. 2 spot, leading Jimin to become the first Korean soloist ever to snag the top 2.

The singer also surpassed artist Olivia Rodrigo, who charted No. 1 with "Sour" on June 5, 2021. This makes "FACE" the highest-ranking solo debut on Billboard 200. According to Luminate, "FACE" collected 164,000 equivalent album units for the week ending on March 30.

The album also gathered 124,000 traditional album sales, 13,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, 19.51 million on-demand streams, and 26,500 track equivalent album (TEA) units on its first week.

Congratulations to Jimin for this wonderful achievement!
