A Look Into Moonbin's Career: From Being 'Little TVXQ Yunho' To Becoming Beloved ASTRO Member

On April 19, ASTRO Moonbin became a star above. He's not in the same space with us anymore, but his efforts, perseverance and hard work will always live in everyone's hearts.

Before Becoming ASTRO Moonbin, Late Idol Rose As Child Model & 'Little TVXQ Yunho'

Born in 1998, Moonbin, a precious son from Cheongju was only six years old when he entered the fashion world as a child model in 2004.

In 2006 then, the young star challenged the music scene when he appeared as the "Little U-Know Yunho" in "Balloon" MV. Among the cute boys in animal costumes, Moonbin became known for his puppy cat face and his contagious eye smile.

His name was even more engraved in the music scene when he appeared on SBS's "Star King" with Yunho and continue their relationship.

Since then, he became a beloved person to Cassiopeia, TVXQ's fandom, which is the first fandom that has been looking after him in the industry like a nephew.

On the other hand, in 2009, Moon Bin also debuted as a child actor, immediately capturing hearts as So Yi Jung, the young version of Kim Bum's role in the hit KBS drama, "Boys Over Flowers." During his cameo, he was loved for his big eyes and cute appearance with fair skin.

ASTRO Moonbin Grows as Versatile Artist & AROHA's Beloved Member

Having TVXQ as his role model as a singer, Moonbin finally established his own fandom as an ASTRO member in 2016, a decade after.

He rose as the main dancer and center of the group who's lauded for his impressive skills and charms. He also carved his name as one of the idol representatives in terms of physicality, and he even won gold medals for relat in ISAC and became a cover model for a men's magazine.

Aside from being a singer, Moonbin also continued his acting career, appearing in a few dramas like, "To Be Continued," "At Eighteen" and "The Mermaid Prince."

Due to his overflowing potential, Moonbin re-debuted in 2020 with Sanha under a sub-unit and made their name known more by having concerts and tours around the world.

With all of his achievements, the late idol is no longer the child that has been admiring Yunho only, but Moonbin became the idol that rookies admire as well. In fact, his younger sister Billlie Moon Sua confessed that his older brother was her role model.

From being looked after by Cassiopeia, Moonbin also created a fandom that will look after his sister and other beloved juniors, AROHAs.

ASTRO Moonbin's time, unfortunately, stopped at 25, but his life and legacy will continue to shine like the brightest star in the sky.
