HYBE Responds to BTS J-Hope's Military Special Treatment Allegations

J-Hope has been embroiled in preferential treatment allegations.

On April 21, news outlet Newsis reported that all recruits who enlisted on April 18 would only get to enter with one car each.

J-Hope of BTS is one of those recruits who enlisted on April 18, who managed to enter the 36th Infantry Division recruit training center in Wonju.

The "one car per recruit" rule was also stated on a large LED sign, which was displayed on the center's entrance. The cars containing the recruits were only permitted to enter after showing their enlistment notices to the guards.

According to the report, Newsis also mentioned that a total of six HYBE vans were spotted entering the area. The vans were reportedly seen entering in unison, implying that some allowances were allegedly made for J-Hope.
