FIFTY FIFTY's 'Cupid' Reaches New Heights on UK Official Singles' Top 30

FIFTY FIFTY has made their second achievement on the United Kingdom's Official Singles Chart with "Cupid."

FIFTY FIFTY Spends Four Consecutive Weeks on IK Official Charts With 'Cupid'

On April 21, the UK Official Charts released their coverage for April 21 to 27.

The UK Official Charts is the equivalent of Billboard's U.S. charts in the United Kingdom, which lists the most popular songs.

Fourth generation girl group FIFTY FIFTY made another peak on the chart with their viral hit song "Cupid," which placed at No. 26 after climbing eight spots.

FIFTY FIFTY first entered the chart on March 31, when the song debuted at No. 96. This achievement led FIFTY FIFTY to become the fastest K-pop girl group in history to enter the rankings. They have also followed iconic groups BLACKPINK, TWICE, and NewJeans.

The girl group earned a spot on the chart in less than five months after their debut. "Cupid" followed on its week for April 7 to 13, when it earned the place at No. 61 after climbing 35 spots.

"Cupid" has also made its third consecutive week entry during the week of April 14 to 20. The song didn't show any signs of stopping, as it continued to rise at UK Official Charts' top 40 at No. 34.

FIFTY FIFTY's 'Cupid' Spends Three Consecutive Weeks on Billboard's Hot 100

In other news, FIFTY FIFTY's "Cupid" accomplished a feat on the Billboard charts. On the chart, "Cupid" made its third consecutive week on the Hot 100, peaking at No. 85. The group has trailed groups BTS, BLACKPINK, and NewJeans.

FIFTY FIFTY also became the overall sixth K-pop group ever to enter Hot 100. They have now joined fellow K-pop artists Wonder Girls. BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and NewJeans.

On March 27 local time, "Cupid" initially debuted on Hot 100 at No. 100, marking a historic achievement for the girls. They have also made headlines on other Billboard Charts, making their spot at No. 8 on World Digital Song Sales, and No. 22 on both Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts.

FIFTY FIFTY is comprised of four members, namely Aran, Keena, Saena, and Sio. The group debuted on November 18, 2022 under agency Attrakt Creative Group.

As for their first-ever music release, FIFTY FIFTY dropped their first extended play "The Fifty," alongside title song "Higher."

They also made a comeback on February 24 with "The Beginning: Cupid" and its main track "Cupid," which gained attention from the K-pop community due to its dreamy concept, music, and the members' vocal colors. Its Korean and twin versions also spawned numerous videos in social media, creating a trendy phase for fourth-gen K-pop.
