How long will ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) be active? As the project boy group created by MNET is finally set to debut this month, more K-pop fans and internet users getting were curious about them and here is everything that we know!

ZEROBASEONE: Debut Date, Disbandment + 1st Official Stage in 'KCON JAPAN 2023'

ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) a new boy group born in Mnet's survival program, "Boys Planet," is scheduled to debut this summer!

According to Star News coverage on April 24, ZB1 is currently heralding a full-fledged group debut with its first album in July! Although the exact date is not yet announced, the nonet is already garnering high expectations for a launch aimed at "summer" which hints at the song being either lively, refreshing or a dance track that will quench the thirst of fans and beat the heat!

An official from Wake One, ZB1's agency said:

 "ZEROBASEONE will start preparing for its first album with the goal of debuting in the middle of this year. We will announce the specific schedule after it is confirmed."

Meanwhile, as the nine-member group is only a project group, they are only scheduled to be active for two years and six months. They will be expected to end their group schedules in January 2024 and possibly go back to their respective agencies.

In the meantime, ZB1  will challenge its ambition to open the "5th-gen K-pop" with its first official stage through "KCON JAPAN 2023" set to be held on May 13 and 14.

1. Zhang Hao

After winning first place in the show, Zhang Hao is officially the center of ZB1. Prior to dreaming to become an idol, the Chinese star born in 2000 almost became a violin/piano teacher.

Zhang Hao who won first place will also perform the killing part and solo song of ZB1.

2. Sung Han Bin

Before debuting, the 01-liner Sung Han Bin is known for his impressive dance skills not only limited to K-pop but various genres including whacking. He was a former backup dancer for Wanna One (2018) and BTS (2019).

3. Seok Matthew

Seok Matthew, born in 2002 was born and raised in Canada, making him a Canadian. He is a multilingual idol who knows English, Korean and French.

4. Ricky

Born in 2004, Ricky is a Chinese who lived in the U.S. The star's role model is BIGBANG G-Dragon, who is loved by numerous idols. He tattoed the word "rolemodel" on his neck with the aspiration that he will also become someone else's role model.

5. Park Gun Wook

Born in 2005, Park Gun Wook almost debuted in TAN, but he was unfortunately eliminated during the last round in the MBC survival show, "Extreme Debut: Wild Idol." In ZB1, he's expected to flaunt his high pitch.

6. Kim Tae Rae

Tae Rae, a 2002 member is not only a talented idol with a killer voice, but he's also a good guitarist with lovely visuals.

7. Kim Gyuvin

Kim Gyuvin, born in 2004 truly stands out when it comes to dancing, just like his role model EXO Kai, ATEEZ San and HongJoong.

8. Kim Jiwoong

Born in 1998, the eldest member Kim Jiwoong is expected to be the leader of the group. He initially debuted in 2016 as Jinam of INX but after disbanding, he became an actor in 2021 and made his name for starring in BL-based dramas.

9. Han Yu Jin

Lastyl, born on March 20, 2007, Han Yu Jin is the maknae of the group. Despite his young age, he's a skilled dancer who also chose SHINee Taemin, EXO Kai and Stray Kids HyunJin as his role models.
