EXO Kai Makes EXO-Ls Laugh With Message After Emotional Live Broadcast

On May 3, Kai made Eris heartbroken with his military enlistment announcement. With this information, the EXO member took to a livestream where he interacted with fans.

The EXO member was seen wearing a hoodie, alongside a cap. Kai was unable to hold back his tears, since the reveal became emotional. The "World Class Performer" revealed that he's been enjoying promoting his activities, and expressed regret how he wanted to do more.

"I'll be joining the military soon. They constantly advise me against wearing cargo hats and cargo pants. I had so much fun doing 'Rover.' I wish I could have done more."

The somber moment came to an end due to Kai's message on the Bubble application.

In his conversation with fans moments after his livestream, Kai returned and revealed that he bought a new phone. However, Kai's face was swollen due to crying, rendering the phone's face I.D. unable to recognize his facial features! Kai stated:

"It's crazy I'm back." 

"I bought a phone. I have to go (enlist) bow."

"My face is swollen so my face I.D. won't function."

Eris found themselves laughing and at the same time, scratching their heads due to Kai's goofy actions!

SM Entertainment Releases Official Statement on Kai's Enlistment Details

On May 3, SM Entertainment uploaded a statement regarding Kai's military enlistment. The agency disclosed specific details about his military preparations, role, and activities.

They also declared that no special event will be held at the day of his enlistment. SM also explained the reason for his early enlistment, despite his upcoming activities with EXO.

"Hello. This is SM Entertainment.

We are here to announce the details of Kai's military service. Kai was preparing with EXO for their anticipated comeback this year, but he was set to enter on the training grounds because of the Military Manpower Administration's changes in regulations.

On May 11, Kai will undergo basic military training, and will eventually take on the role of a public service worker. To honor Kai's intention of enlisting calmly, details such as location and time will not be disclosed to the public. There will also be no special event on his enlistment date. We kindly ask fans for their generous understanding.

As for EXO's album plans, we will make a separate announcement once everything is finalized and arranged. Thank you."
