Taeyong is finally preparing for his solo endeavors!
On May 4, Korean news outlet Sports Chosun reported that Taeyong is now gearing up for his first solo album. According to sources, Taeyong is set to debut on June, and is now recording the music video needed for the release.
Taeyong's agency SM Entertainment later confirmed the reports, where they stated Taeyong's debut month and encouraged fans to support his upcoming activities.
While many of NCT members have all released numerous solo tracks, Taeyong will officially become the first member to release an album for his solo debut.
SM Entertainment stated:
"NCT member Taeyong is currently preparing his first solo album, which is set to release in June. Please look forward to it with lots of anticipation."

NCTzens were quick to catch the reports, causing immense joy inside the fandom. Fans were delighted to see Taeyong finally making his solo release, and wondered what type of genre will be used for his music. Meanwhile, some fans preferred to see NCT 127 members go solo and engage in units instead of having group promotions.
