Red Velvet Wendy to Feature in NCT Taeyong's Upcoming Solo Debut Album
Taeyong will be having a collab with Red Velvet's main vocalist Wendy!
On May 19, SM Entertainment released an official announcement, addressing Taeyong's upcoming solo debut album "SHALALA." In one of the album's tracks, its B-side song "Move Mood Mode" will feature Wendy.
In a separate note, Taeyong has also participated on the song's production, taking part on its lyrics and composition. According to sources, the song will exhibit a medium-tempo track, accompanied by synth sounds and a bouncy feel.
The song's lyrics is reportedly about the raw emotions with a lover, that showcases the interactions and mood gained from the relationship. "SHALALA" is scheduled to drop on June 5, at 6 p.m. KST.
Taeyong's solo debut preparations was first announced on May 4, when Korean news outlet Sports Chosun revealed the details. The report also stated that Taeyong is on the middle of recording its music video.

Following this, Taeyong's agency SM Entertainment confirmed the news, relaying Taeyong's debut month. They also asked fans to support the artist's solo endeavors.
"NCT member Taeyong is currently preparing his first solo album, which is set to release in June. Please look forward to it with lots of anticipation."
Although NCT is known for having its members release solo tracks, Taeyong will officially be the first member to drop an official album for his solo debut.
Taeyong has released numerous solo tracks as part of SM Entertainment's "SM STATION," where NCT members upload their own projects, which showcase their individuality in style, concept, and music genre.

The idol has previously released solo tracks such as "Long Flight," "Love Theory," and "AROUND." Taeyong also managed to showcase his dance skills, in performance videos "LONELY," and "GHOST."
NCT Taeyong Shares Concept Photos For 'SHALALA,' NCTzens React
On May 19, several 'SHALALA' concept photos were shared by Taeyong on his official Instagram account. The pictures feature Taeyong being mischievous by flaunting his visuals and eccentric fashion.
