News Site Apologizes to EXO Sehun For Spreading False Information Regarding Pregnancy Claims
On May 22, Korean news outlet Wikitree made buzz within online communities. In their content, the site uploaded a public apology, addressing the spread of Sehun's pregnancy rumors. Wikitree sent their deepest apologies to Sehun, due to reporting the pregnancy allegations.
However, the site admitted that the mistake derived from inaccurate reporting. They also declared their resolve in doing better in the future and prevent any similar mistakes to occur again. Moreover, Wikitree also apologized to Sehun's fans, EXO-Ls.

"We would like to apologize regarding a report about Sehun, a member of EXO.
Last March, an article was uploaded with the title of 'EXO Sehun faces premarital pregnancy rumor with non-celebrity girlfriend, witness accounts from maternity clinic,' and once again, we send our deepest apologies for publishing an article with such context.
In the end, the article turned out to be incorrect, as this is due to inaccurate reporting. We would like to perform more cautiousness regarding our reporting procedures and will thoroughly check facts. This is to ensure that this kind of situation would not happen again in the future.
Furthermore, we would also like to apologize to Sehun, his fans, and our readers."

On March 27, Sehun became embroiled with false rumors with an alleged non-celebrity girlfriend. The rumors first circulated on March 20, when Sehun was rumored to be seen in an OB-GYN clinic, together with the "girlfriend."
A photo was posted online, featuring a man sitting down, with a face covered by emojis. The photo, which was captioned by the said non-celebrity girlfriend stated, "With this man, who is a precious blessing."

The situation worsened when the topic reached to a mom café, wherein some netizens claimed themselves as witnesses. On their forum, they stated that a K-pop male idol was spotted, to which the speculated as Sehun due to the man's physique.
Following these rumors, both SM Entertainment and Sehun himself shed light on the matters. The agency stated that legal action will be taken to those who spread the false rumors.
Meanwhile, Sehun uploaded an initial announcement expressing his frustration.
"I am really angry at how this situation started when I first observed it. However, I wanted to tell all of you guys not to misunderstand anything."
