Former GFRIEND Yerin Reveals 'WOORIN' As Fan Club's Official Name
On May 24, Yerin has finally announced the official name for her fan club.
The idol announced that WOORIN is now the designation for her fans and was derived from three meanings. According to sources, Yerin made the announcement through a live broadcast conducted on Bill Entertainment's official YouTube channel.
In the poster uploaded on Yerin's Twitter, the numbered statements described that the first meaning of WOORIN is "we are." Secondly, the term WOORIN is an acronym of "Yerin is 'our' every 'rin.'" Overall, the name represents that fans and WOORIN will "always be together no matter what.'"

Yerin debuted with GFRIEND on January 15, 2015, with their first extended play "Glass Bead" alongside its title track of the same name. However on May 18, it was reported that all GFRIEND members would leave Source Music.
On May 20, 2021, Yerin, along with other GFRIEND members all confirmed the conclusion of their group activities and disbandment through handwritten letters.
This was followed by Yerin's signing to agency Sublime Artist Agency on June 17, 2021, where the idol planned to take on a new chapter and flourish her solo career. Under her new management, Yerin made her solo debut with "ARIA" on May 18, 2022. Yerin also made her acting debut on the series "The Witch Store Reopens."

On March 31, Sublime Artist Agency announced Yerin's departure from the company due to the expiration of her contract.
"Our exclusive contract with Yerin has concluded today on March 31. After discussing it with Yerin, a mutual agreement was made to end the contract once its expiration came."
On April 17, Yerin joined her current agency Bill Entertainment. The agency welcomed Yerin, who is set to showcase her talent and creativity. They also added that Yerin will receive the agency's unconditional support and resources.
Bill Entertainment stated:
"We're happy to provide support for Yerin in her new beginning. Yerin possesses limitless potential in terms of artistry, and we will spare our unwavering support, to showcase her activities in music, broadcasting, and other various fields."
Yerin Reveals How She Conquers Nervousness For Solo Debut
In other news, Yerin was featured on Your Vibes magazine on August 2022. The idol revealed her honest thoughts regarding her solo debut.
She even expressed her gratefulness to Joy of Red Velvet, who helped her through difficult times.
Yerin remarked:
"To be honest, I can't stand on stage by myself. That's what I feel when I stand in front of people and not my fans. But I pulled through, and I developed more because of these activities."
"There was a difficult time in my life when I was preparing for my solo debut, but Joy visited me, and we talked all night. I learned so much from her advice since she went solo before."
