The month of May is nearing its end, causing every artist in the K-pop industry to make it count when it comes to releases, appearances, and overall activity.
The Korean Business Research Institute has announced their brand reputation rankings for May, which involves K-pop boy group members. The rankings listed were derived from various aspects such as coverage, exposure, consumer participation, and communication.
According to the report, the data was gathered from April 20 to May 20. It was conducted in of 703 male idols in the K-pop industry.
Here are the 7 most popular K-pop boy group members for May 2023!
1. BTS Jimin
Jimin of BTS defended his position at the No. 1 spot after gaining a brand reputation index of 5,434,511. The idol has also gained 86.77 percent positive reactions from his positivity-negativity analysis for May.
2. BTS V
In the second place, V claimed No. 2 with a brand reputation index of 3,620,208. Apart from his activities, V also gained buzz within social media due to his rumored dating news with Jennie of BLACKPINK. The idol became the center of attention after viral clips from Paris circulated online, collecting tract within domestic and international areas.
3. Former Wanna One Kang Daniel
Former Wanna One Kang Daniel achieved a brand reputation index of 3,010,114 for the month of May, proving his unrivaled popularity.
4. EXO Baekhyun
Baekhyun climbed on the list after attaining a 21.11 percent increase. This led the idol to have a brand reputation index of 2,484,239, raking in the fourth place.
5. BTS Jungkook
BTS's maknae made it on the top five with a 13.14 percent score increase, leading to a brand reputation index of 2,387,331.
6. BIGBANG G-Dragon
According to the list, BIGBANG's iconic leader G-Dragon claimed a figure of 2,018,932 for his May brand reputation ranking.
7. BTS Suga
Suga trailed on the seventh place, garnering a brand reputation index of 1,909,900. The "Haegeum" performer also went viral for his moments at "Agust D" solo world tour.
