BLACKPINK Jennie Writes Apology to BLINKs After Leaving Mid-Concert: 'I'm doing my best to recover'

BLACKPINK Jennie has finally broke silence regarding her leaving their Melbourne concert midway, apologizing through her Instagram Stories.

Jennie has finally addressed her latest situation.

On June 13, Jennie apologized on her Instagram story for leaving midway, and not being able to finish the concert in Melbourne.

In her message, Jennie also assured BLINKs that she's doing everything she can to recover her health. The idol also expressed her gratitude to those who support her, and those who attended the Melbourne concert.

"Dear Melbourne Blinks, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to finish the show on Sunday. I'm doing my best to recover at the moment," Jennie stated.

She continued, "Your understanding and support mean the world to me. Thank you to everyone who came to our Melbourne show. I love you guys."

On June 11, Jennie abruptly left the stage midway on their "Lovesick Girls" performance. Before the idol walked out, several clips that circulated online showed her difficulty in moving.

During the concert, member Rosé originally informed the audiences that Jennie has received an IV, and is taking a break to prepare for the main stage. However, Jennie seemed to reach her limit, leading her to leave in the middle of the concert.

YG Entertainment Releases Official Statement on Jennie's Health Condition

On the same day (June 11), YG Entertainment followed up an official statement addressing Jennie's health condition. The announcement was made on Weverse.

YG Entertainment apologized to BLINKs who attended the concert and ran them through the situation that transpired during the event.

They also remarked that Jennie was more than willing to finish the Melbourne concert. Unfortunately, measures were carried out for Jennie to recover her health.

"Hello. This is YG Entertainment.

We are here to inform you that Jennie couldn't be on live stage on BLACKPINK's 'BORN PINK' Melbourne concert because of her poor health. We sincerely apologize to fans, who attended BLACKPINK's concert, and we kindly ask for everyone's understanding.

Jennie displayed her commitment to move forward with their performances until the very end, but eventually, measures were taken to guarantee her health stability and receive enough rest, together with the help of medical staff.

Jennie has expressed regret for not being able to see the whole concert through with her fans, and has shown her resolve to recover as quickly as possible. We will do our utmost best to support Jennie in her recovery. Once again, we ask for everyone's understanding.
