8 Most Popular K-pop Groups For June 2023: BTS, BLACKPINK, More!
It's that time of the month again where the popularity of K-pop groups are being assessed. For the month of June, the Korean Business Research Institute has announced the brand reputation rankings for all K-pop groups.
According to their layout, the data determined was covered from May 20 to June 20. It derived from aspects such as the groups' interaction with the masses, participation of fans, media exposure, and awareness.
Here are the 8 most popular K-pop groups for June 2023!
1. BTS
BTS maintained their spot with a brand reputation index of 11,654,947 due to a 75.56 percent score increase. As for their positivity-negativity analysis, the group received 96.53 percent positive reactions.
They also gained buzz because of their 10th debut anniversary celebration, which occurred on June 13. BTS trended online for their annual "BTS Festa," where they release fun content, activities, and music, such as their 2023 digital single "Take Two."
2. BLACKPINK
As for BLACKPINK, the quartet received a brand reputation index of 5,209,267 for June, placing on the No. 2 spot. The group has been active in their "BORN PINK" world tour, creating memories with BLINKs for the long run. Apart from their group activities, the individual members are also lively in their solo endeavors.
3. NewJeans
On the third place, NewJeans claimed a brand reputation index of 3,761,863. They also made buzz when they announced their highly anticipated comeback "Get Up," their upcoming second mini album.
The release will contain a total of 6 tracks, including the title, and will have music videos each for accompaniment. Musically, NewJeans will also collaborate with the popular cartoon show "THE POWERPUFF GIRLS" for its 25th anniversary.
4. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN garnered a total of 3,710,635 for their June brand reputation index.
5. IVE
IVE gathered a brand reputation index of 3,559,664, completing the list's top five for June.
6. FIFTY FIFTY
FIFTY FIFTY secured the sixth place with a brand reputation index of 3,357,063.
7. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM made it on the No. 7 spot with a brand reputation index of 3,347,211 for June.
8. (G)I-DLE
Lastly, (G)I-DLE took the eighth place with a brand reputation index of 3,265,227.
