10 Most Popular K-pop Groups in July 2023: BTS, NewJeans, BLACKPINK, More!

With the month of July going halfway within its course, many our favorite K-pop groups have managed to gain attention with their music releases, concerts, and activities.

The Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced their newest brand reputation rankings for July, which covers K-pop idol groups. With these rankings, the organization has determined the buzz made by numerous artists.

Its results was derived from numerous factors such as coverage from the media, participation of consumers, interaction, and overall exposure that can lead to buzz. According to the institute's chart, large data was determined from June 18 to July 18.

Here are the 10 most popular K-pop groups in July 2023!

1. BTS

BTS made first place on the July rankings with a brand reputation index of 6,773,406. As for their positivity-negativity analysis, BTS received a result of 90.07 percent positive reactions, proving their strong popularity and influence.

2. NewJeans

NewJeans made it on second place due to a 58.75 percent score rise, leading to a brand reputation index of 5,971,913. From June to July, NewJeans have been making buzz across the community and industry with their ongoing tracks from upcoming second mini album "Get Up."

The rising rookie group has released MVs for tracks "New Jeans," "Super Shy," and "Cool With You," making traction within fans and non-fans.

3. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK claimed the third place with a brand reputation index of 4,960,500.

4. IVE

IVE secured the No. 4 spot with a brand reputation index of 3,982,683.

5. SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,524,694.

6. LE SSERAFIM

On the sixth place, LE SSERAFIM garnered a brand reputation index of 3,254,053.

7. (G)I-DLE

For July, (G)I-DLE managed to secure the No. 7 spot with an index of 3,069,485.

8. EXO

EXO placed on No. 8 after receiving a brand reputation index of 2,905,429. The vocal kings have been active with their promotions, since they've returned with their highly anticipated comeback comprised of seventh full album "EXIST" and title track "Cream Soda."

Apart from promoting their music, the group also made buzz with their appearances on variety shows, live studio performances, and social media updates.
