EXO Baekhyun and SNSD Taeyeon are indeed two of K-pop's vocal kings and queens! In an AI-generated list, fans agreed to these 10 K-pop idols being selected as the best vocalists of all time!

On July 21, About Music's Twitter released the Top 10 best singers in the K-pop industry, chosen through Google's Bard, an artificial intelligence bot that is often used as a research tool.

Without further ado, here are the 10 best K-pop vocalists of all time.

1. EXO Baekhyun

Since his debut, EXO Baekhyun has been recognized not only by fans but music critics for his one-top vocals as EXO's main vocalist and soloist.

His skills aren't only acknowledged by professionals but his excellence also reflects on his past achievements, being a million-seller soloist in 2020 with "Delight," the first idol to do so in 19 years after Kim Gun Mo in 2001.

2. IU

Dubbed the "Nation's Sweetheart," IU has proved her outstanding singing abilities with her hits, "Good Day," "You & 1," "Palette," "Lilac" and more.

With the aforementioned songs, the singer-songwriter has shown off her versatility, being able to slay various genres and hit her iconic 3-octave high notes.

3. Girls Generation Taeyeon

From being the main vocalist of "Nation's Girl Group" SNSD/Girls' Generation to being a sold-out queen with her solo concerts, Taeyeon doesn't need to prove anything anymore to be on this list!

When Taeyeon debuted, she was immediately loved for her distinct sound and she was described by a media outlet as:

"(Taeyeon) is a historical figure in K-pop with a prodigious voice... an undisputed star!"

4. EXO Chen

When it comes to the best voice, it's impossible not to mention the "Ballad King" Chen, who is known for belting high notes even in the female key, proving the wide range of his vocals.

Chen possesses a powerful and strong voice that EXO and even the music scene, in general, will sound empty without his voice.

5. EXO D.O.

The third EXO member to enter the list, D.O. truly deserved the spot as well for his stunning voice. His vocals have such an impact that is truly deep.

Listening to his voice, it feels like you are being serenaded, and wait until he gives you his truly satisfying riffs and runs!

6. SISTAR Hyolyn

Among female idols, the talk about best vocalists won't be complete without Hyolyn, who's lent her voice to numerous Korean drama OSTs that you might know, such as "Good bye" ("My Love from the Star"), "I miss you" ("Uncontrollably Fond"), "Our Tears" (Hwarang), and more.

She is also the outstanding vocalist behind SISTAR's hits, "Give it to Me," "Touch My Body," "Shake It," and more.

7. SHINee Onew

Since his debut, Onew has been shining for his unique and healing vocals, may it be as SHINee's main vocalist or as a soloist.

The best thing about his voice is that he doesn't only reach high notes like it's nothing. But whenever he sings, listeners can feel the message of the song he's singing with his sincere voice and genuine emotions.

8. BTS Jungkook

The main vocalist of the "biggest boy group in the world," BTS Jungkook's vocals have been recognized by multiple music professionals not only in Korea but internationally.

He has proven that to become one of the best singers, you don't need to belt high notes; rather, being a singer means reaching people's hearts around the world, regardless of nationality, age and culture, through his voice and songs.

9. 2NE1 Park Bom

AI doesn't lie? Yes!

Although Park Bom is often under-recognized for her vocals after being inactive in the K-pop scene, it is undeniable that Park Bom stunned and completed the second-gen K-pop era with her distinct and husky vocals that you will keep on asking for more once you hear her sing!

10. BLACKPINK Rosé

BLACKPINK Rosé completed the list with her unique vocal tone, which drifts away from the usual main vocalists who often sing the high and most difficult notes.

Rosé has a wide vocal range as well, but what makes her unique as a singer was her ability to bring life and color to either BLACKPINK or his solo songs.
