On August 1, a new group photo of Red Velvet was uploaded on their official social media accounts to commemorate their 9th debut anniversary.

In the photo, the members who boast elegant and luxurious visuals showed off their friendship by posing huddled to one another while gazing warmly at the camera.

Among the members, Irene who was holding the cake particularly earned the attention of fans for her visuals.

Fans couldn't help but reminisce that the oldest member is now in her 9th year as an idol. Despite this, her youthful looks from when she was first introduced in 2014 didn't change even if she's 32 years old now.

Looking at the photo, one would believe that Irene is only in her 20s due to her angel-like face wearing a white cut-out 'fit.

Due to her unrelenting beauty, there are still people who are often surprised to hear Irene's real age.

Irene is also a popular star among idols for her beauty that even Seulgi, a member of the same group, recalled her trainee days and mentioned the idol, saying:

"Irene caused a ruckus when she first came in. She was so pretty."

Hearing this, people raised their thumbs at Irene's appearance, which even the same idol recognizes.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet, a group to which Irene belongs, debuted in the music industry with "Happiness" in 2014. Since then, the team rose as a top-tier third-gen girl group that had many hit songs such as "Ice Cream Cake," "Russian Roulette," "Rookie," "Red Flavor," "Peekaboo," "Psycho," and "Feel My Rhythm."

Amid their hiatus in the music scene, SM Entertainment revealed their comeback lineup for the second half of 2023.

With the new data, Red Velvet will finally make their return in the fourth quarter. More information about their comeback is yet to be revealed.
