After the speculation became viral in popular online communities, the keyword "Joshua Girlfriend" also dominated the popular trend in various SNS for several days, drawing even more attention to the issue.

SEVENTEEN Joshua Faces 'Fan Deception' Accusation Following Dating Speculations

Aside from his dating rumor, Joshua is also facing allegations of "fan deception" related to his unconfirmed relationship with the influencer.

First, fans exclaimed that they felt a strong sense of betrayal due to Joshua's "careless" behavior ahead of SEVENTEEN's October comeback.

CARATs claimed that this issue can spoil the mood of their upcoming release and even his co-members are being affected by it, just like how the fandom wasn't able to celebrate S.Coups birthday on August 8 properly due to the issue.

It was also speculated that Joshua brought his girlfriend to their concert in July and even invited her to sit in the front row, although it is a space that is so difficult to reserve and has a fierce competition rate among fans.

However, the said girlfriend got it easily, adding more fuel to the fire.

What made CARATs more furious was due to the fact that Joshua and Pledis remained silent despite growing interest and expressed disappointment for not thinking of his fans.
