BTS J-Hope's 'Jack In The Box' Returns on Billboard 200's Top 10 After One Year

J-Hope made a new feat in his solo career.

On August 27, local time, J-Hope's 2022 solo album "Jack In The Box" has re-entered Billboard's Top 200 albums chart. The album earned the No. 6 spot on Billboard 200, where it reached the top 10 for the first time.

J-Hope entering the Top 200 Albums chart is impressive in itself since the chart records the most popular albums in the United States. Previously, the album debuted on the chart's No. 17.

According to the data Luminate collected, "Jack In The Box" managed to secure an overall figure of 50,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on August 24.

This total figure was comprised of 47,000 traditional album sales, 2,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, and 2.99 million on-demand audio streams. Moreover, the album also secured a total of 1,000 track equivalent album (TEA) units.

Initially, "Jack In The Box" was released in July 15, 2022 through digital and as a Weverse album. However, on August 18, BIGHIT MUSIC released a physical version of the album.

In other news, BIGHIT MUSIC announced on July 16 that J-Hope plans to release "Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)," a physical version of his solo album.

According to Korean media outlet Osen, it was disclosed that J-Hope already had the album prepared before making his military enlistment. The album also received J-Hope's participation in aspects such as arrangement and composition.

"Jack In The Box (HOPE Edition)" also included three live tracks and two instrumental tracks from J-Hope's legendary stages during his iconic appearance at the Lollapalooza festival.

Inside the album's contents, J-Hope also treated fans to newly released featured photos and items. "Jack In The Box" is one of the most love albums in K-pop due to J-Hope's utilization of numerous themes and genres which departed away from his upbeat vibe.

"Jack In The Box" was also highly anticipated by ARMYs and the K-pop community, since J-Hope was about to make his solo debut.
