To measure the influence of K-pop idols, one of the most effective ways is to determine the size of their power (number of subscribers and followers) on social media (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

In addition to this, a star's influence can also be measured based on how people follow stars every time they appear on social media such as TikTok and Thread as well as how they enthusiastically respond to each post by making it a "trend" every time.

In a recent survey conducted by Forbes Korea from July 26 to August 9, about 19.2k participants from 105 countries joined the survey with the aim of knowing the "TOP 10 MOST INFLUENTIAL STARS ON SNS."

The majority of the votes came from the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia and Japan.
