Overseas fans expressed frustrations that Chanelle was eliminated, claiming that she was "robbed" and that she deserves to join the debuting lineup for HYBE's Belift LAB's upcoming girl group.
After about four days since Chanelle was removed from the show, JTBC's "R U Next?" is continuously gaining negative reactions from international fans.
In fact, Chanelle's supporters didn't only boycott the show, but they've been mass unfollowing the show's social media platforms as well.

The reason criticized the show was due to judges' alleged favoritism towards other trainees. Fans were frustrated that Chanelle was eliminated after her performance of IVE's "ELEVEN" where the judge pointed out that she was "out of tune" and "off-key."
Fans were also mad at how Chanelle's appearances were poorly edited and made her look "selfish" and "ungrateful" for fighting for the parts she wanted.
this man gotta be shitting me how do you say someone's off key then say they were off beat and even say they lacked breath control THEYRE 3 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS?!
