TXT and Stray Kids have both won trophies at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

TXT Wins 'PUSH Performance of the Year' Award at 2023 MTV VMAs

The highly anticipated and major music award show has commenced.

On September 13, the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards initiated its awarding ceremony. The major music award show honors talented artists worldwide for their dedication, influence, and creativity.

The event also included a star-studded attendance, composed of big names in the music industry such as Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Olivia Rodrigo, Demi Lovato, and many more. Amid the long list of attendees, it also made way for the K-pop scene with TXT's appearance.

The "PUSH Performance of the Year" Award was also filled with international artists. See the list of nominees for the award below:

In the end, TXT was chosen as the winner for "PUSH Performance of the Year" award. The "Sugar Rush Ride" singers then went up the stage to receive their trophy and engage in a short interview regarding the acceptance.

Announcer: "Congratulations, just incredible. What message would you have for your fans who have voted for you?"

TXT Huening Kai: "Thank you so much, we remember how excited we were to become MTV's PUSH artist. We wanted to show who we are and our music with lots of people. This all means that we did that."

Meanwhile, TXT was also joined by a fellow fourth-gen K-pop representative on the show.

Stray Kids Secures Trophy for 'Best K-pop' at 2023 MTV Music Video Awards

At the ceremony, many applauded Stray Kids, who landed a win for "Best K-pop" award.

Bang Chan: "Hello, we are Stray Kids. First of all, we'd like to thank the VMAs for inviting us. We've been making music ever since we started in Korea. But to receive this award just really means a lot to us."

Felix: "We just want to thank our label JYP Division 1, Republic Records, and also our fans, our STAYs for being so supportive. Please, we have so much to show you guys, so look forward to it in the future. Thank you so much."
