12 K-pop Artists Dominating Billboard's 2nd World Albums Chart in October 2023

On October 14, Billboard has officially announced its second list for World Albums chart, which gathered data for the week ending on October 14. Landing a spot on the World Albums chart is a big achievement in itself, since the chart ranks the most popular albums weekly.

For October 2023's second week, here are 12 K-pop artists who dominated on World Albums chart!

1. NewJeans with 'Get Up' & 'New Jeans'

NewJeans claimed No. 1 with their second mini album "Get Up." Moreover, they also secured the original list's No. 13 with their debut extended play "New Jeans."

2. NCT with 'Golden Age'

When NCT returned with their full album "Golden Age," the album made its first entry on the World Albums chart at the No. 2 spot.

3. SEVENTEEN with 'ALWAYS YOURS'

On the list's fourth place, SEVENTEEN reigned with "ALWAYS YOURS," their first-ever Japanese compilation album.

4. Stray Kids with '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'

Stray Kids followed SEVENTEEN at No. 6 with their third full-length album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)." While it was released back on June 2, the album is still keeping its momentum across music charts domestically and internationally.

5. ONEUS with 'La Dolce Vita'

For October 2023's second week, ONEUS's 10th mini album "La Dolce Vita" made its entry at No. 7 on the World Albums chart.

6. FIFTY FIFTY with 'The Beginning'

FIFTY FIFTY ranked at No. 8 with their EP "The Beginning." Its title track "Cupid" has made waves in music charts this 2023, and with its virality still ongoing, the album also followed its momentum as well.

7. BTS with 'Proof'

BTS also joined the World Albums chart for October 2023's second week. According to the list, the group secured No. 9 with their anthology album "Proof," which was released on June 10, 2022.

8. NCT DREAM with 'ISTJ'

No. 10 was occupied by NCT DREAM with their newest third full-length album "ISTJ." The album was released on July 17, alongside its title track of the same name.

9. BTS J-Hope with 'Jack In The Box'

No. 10 was taken by J-Hope's solo album "Jack In The Box."

10. ENHYPEN with 'DARK BLOOD'

ENHYPEN managed to snatch No. 12 with their fourth mini album "DARK BLOOD," which was released on May 22.

11. BTS Jimin with 'FACE'

Jimin of BTS secured No. 14 with his solo debut album "FACE." The idol's album also gained buzz for breaking records in Billboard for its sales and its strong consistency on music charts.

12. LE SSERAFIM with 'UNFORGIVEN'

Lastly, at No. 15, the spot was claimed by LE SSERAFIM's first full-length album "UNFORGIVEN." The album was officially released on May 1.
