FIFTY FIFTY Keena Withdraws Lawsuit Against ATTRAKT Due to Law Firm Changes

Keena has shelved the lawsuit against ATTRAKT.

On October 16, a Korean news outlet reported that FIFTY FIFTY member Keena had dropped her appeal by submitting a letter of withdrawal to the court. The lawsuit was dropped after Keena had switched her legal representatives, from Barun to Shinwon.

However, the remaining three FIFTY FIFTY members - Aran, Sio, and Saena - will reportedly continue their legal battle against ATTRAKT. It was also disclosed that Keena was the only member to acquire a new legal representative.

The group's legal representative stated:

"Keena has appointed a new legal representative. She has also filed a letter for the appeal's dismissal, but the three members will continue their appeal process."

On October 16, Keena's decision to rejoin ATTRAKT sparked negative reactions from netizens. An online community was filled by netters who voiced out their disapproval, saying that Keena's resolution was too late and that she needed to audition first.

Some expressed that Keena's chances of returning to the agency and making a fresh start for her career were now low. They also claimed that ATTRAKT's CEO Jeon Hong Joon will instead focus on the agency's upcoming girl group audition.

Read their comments below:

  •  "You should audition at the agency too."
  •  "It's too late. There were so many chances given to you already."
  •  "Please don't accept her. Just accept her apology."
  •  "Do you think the CEO wants to ruin his new girl group? There's no way she's returning. If she did manage to return, the CEO would probably just keep her in the backseat until her contract ends."
  •  "Didn't they announce a new girl group survival audition? They can just include her in the survival and not pick her at the end."

Meanwhile, some stated that Keena returning to ATTRAKT would basically contradict FIFTY FIFTY's claims against the agency.

  •  "Why do this though? Wouldn't this contradict their whole story and make the other members have a bad image?"
  •  "In the public eye, doing this will just reinforce the narrative that they were lying all along."
  •  "This will just make them look bad even more. It contradicts their claims."
