EXO Baekhyun Draws Attention from Gamers for Visuals, Vocals Matching Ezreal

On October 24, the virtual boy group HEARTSTEEL finally made their debut with its single, "PARANOIA"! The group was launched by Riot Games to commemorate the "LoL World Championship" (Worlds Cup).

The team is comprised of re-imagined champions in the game League of Legends.

HEARTSTEEL consists of six members and most of them are voiced by top artists and idols. This includes EXO Baekhyun, who lent his voice to the character named Ezreal.

On this day, the virtual group finally made their debut in the music scene!

While K-pop fans undoubtedly supported the release, especially EXO-Ls (fandom), the reaction of gamers to the idol is rather shocking!

Undoubtedly, after the song was dropped, LoL enthusiasts were delighted to see their favorite game characters being reinterpreted as idols. But what caught their attention the most was Baekhyun, who stood out not only for his voice but visuals!

Hearing Ezreal's parts, gamers started to inquire about the voice behind the character and after finding out that it was Baekhyun, a K-pop star, they went on by stating that his visuals and vibe are 100% in sync with the virtual idol!

On Twitter, gamers surprisingly reached out to Eris and expressed their admiration for his impressive vocals and for giving life to the character of Ezreal.

In fact, after hearing his vocals, gamers aren't only listening to this song but are already checking Baekhyun's discography!

With this, EXO Baekhyun will soon not be only famous among K-pop idols and drama fans but his fandom will also be comprised of gamers!

But aside from gamers, non-EXO-Ls who are also gamers were showing more interest in the group and the idol, expressing their satisfaction that Riot Games chose Baekhyun to voice Ezreal.

The champions in the game appear defiant in the music video, not afraid of adventure. The unique characteristics of the champion are described in detail, and the dynamic appearance of the city center harmonizes with the fast-tempo song.

Riot Games will also introduce game content to commemorate HEARTSTEEL's debut. League of Legends will release seven champion skins on November 9 based on the appearance of the champions in the music video. Wild Lift will release a total of five types of skins sequentially from November 17.
