Red Velvet to Release 3rd Studio Album 'Chill Kill' in November
On November 13, the quintet is set to unveil its third full-length album, "Chill Kill," their first studio album to be released in about six years following "Perfect Velvet" released in 2017.
"Chill Kill," a newly combined term that means "an event or existence that breaks silence," will be comprised of 10 songs of various genres featuring a same-name pop dance title track.
The lyrics are also expected to be exciting. The narrative showed the proponent's calm world which changed after the appearance of "Chill Kill." It is also characterized by the ambivalence of longing for the other person and singing hope amidst tragedy.
Red Velvet Stuns With 'Bright Tragedy' Visuals in Latest 'Chill Kill' Concept Photos
Ahead of its release, Red Velvet teased fans even more with their solo concept photos on October 27.
The image flaunted the combination of traditional and modern details, wherein the members were seen wearing black and white outfits while they took their shots at the background filled with historical items, patterns and designs.
Looking at their visuals, the quintet also showed off their classic and sophisticated visuals, with a somewhat eerie aura as they looked at the camera.
As soon as the teaser photos were unveiled, Red Velvet became a hot topic in various online communities and social media platforms.
In a viral post titled, "Red Velvet's teaser that just came out is really crazy," the internet user expressed how impressed they were with the group and said:
"I think it was legendary for the group. I'm not saying this carelessly, but I think it's the best (concept) ever. How can I wait until Nov. 13?"
ReVeluvs and web commenters agreed and left rave reviews including:
