Top 15 Female Idols Who Are 2023's 'Queens of K-pop' — Who Claimed 1st Place?
KingChoice has finally announced the rankings for the poll titled "The Queen of K-pop 2023." The poll contained a total of 30 nominees, which comprised of popular female K-pop idols in the music industry. Fans participated in the poll, amassing over 1.5 million votes.
Here are the top 15 "Queens of K-pop" in 2023!
1. Red Velvet Irene
Irene of Red Velvet made it on the No. 1 spot with a total of 971,162 votes. With her reputation of being Red Velvet's leader, OG visual, and center, it's no surprise to have her as the top 1 K-pop queen for the year 2023!
2. Red Velvet Joy
Joy followed her bandmate in No. 2, where she gained 277,977 votes on the poll.
3. ITZY Ryujin
ITZY's center member Ryujin completed the top three by placing a score of 122,610.
4. TWICE Tzuyu
TWICE's youngest member Tzuyu managed to secure fourth place in the rankings due to a score of 86,087.
5. BLACKPINK Lisa
Another maknae, BLACKPINK's main dancer Lisa completed the top five by earning a score of 30,733.
6. Red Velvet Yeri
Yeri, the maknae of Red Velvet, continued the list by placing on No.6 with a total vote of 29,811.
7. Red Velvet Seulgi
Seulgi followed in seventh place, also with a score of 29,811.
8. Red Velvet Wendy
Meanwhile, Red Velvet's main vocalist Wendy tied with two of her bandmates with a total vote of 29,811, earning her eighth place.
9. EVERGLOW Aisha
Aisha of EVERGLOW made it in ninth place after garnering a score of 19,585.
10. LAPILLUS Chanty
The list's top 10 was closed down by LAPILLUS member Chanty, who collected a total vote of 18,235.
11. TWICE Jihyo
TWICE's leader Jihyo made it on No. 11 after claiming a score of 8,003.
12. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie threaded on No. 12 after receiving a score of 7,606.
13. BLACKPINK Rosé
With a score of 6,168, Rosé claimed the 13th place on the rankings.
14. Girls' Generation YoonA
YoonA of Girls' Generation made it on No. 14 by garnering a score of 4,122.
15. T-ARA Jiyeon
Lastly, on No. 15, T-ARA member Jiyeon placed on the spot with a total score of 3,920.
