PENTAGON's Hongseok has officially severed ties with Cube Entertainment, as announced by the agency on November 6 via PENTAGON's official Twitter account.

In a statement addressed to UNIVERSE, PENTAGON's dedicated fan club, Cube Entertainment expressed gratitude for the ongoing support.

The agency confirmed the termination of the exclusive contract with Hongseok after extensive discussions about his future endeavors. Both parties reached a mutual agreement to conclude the contractual relationship.

Cube Entertainment acknowledged Hongseok's contributions as an artist under their label, praising his passion and talents during his time as a PENTAGON member.

The agency expressed anticipation and support for Hongseok's future endeavors, encouraging fans to extend their warm support as he embarks on a new chapter outside Cube Entertainment.

Hongseok also shared his sentiments on his Instagram Stories, reflecting on the nearly nine years he spent with Cube Entertainment. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of PENTAGON and to have gained new brothers.

Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.

First, we would like to thank UNIVERSE (PENTAGON's official fan club) who love and support PENTAGON.

We would like to deliver an official statement regarding the termination of the exclusive contract between Cube Entertainment and PENTAGON member Hongseok.

We had sufficient discussions and conversations with Hongseok regarding his future activities. As a result, we mutually agreed to end his exclusive contract.

We convey our gratitude for Hongseok, who fully showcased his passion and talents as [an artist] under Cube Entertainment after debuting as [a member of] PENTAGON, and we anticipate and root for Hongseok as he takes an even more dazzling leap forward.

We ask for your warm support and encouragement for PENTAGON's Hongseok, who will start anew after departing Cube Entertainment.

This announcement follows the departure of five other PENTAGON members – Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok – from Cube Entertainment in October.
