BLACKPINK Lisa Enduring Sickness During World Tour Gains Praise: 'She looks sick, but very energetic...'

On SNS and online communities, BLINKs were touched by Lisa's professionalism after a store employee revealed that the idol was feeling unwell during the quartet's world tour.

Store Employee Shares Anecdote With Lisa Proving Her Professionalism and Passion

Amid Lisa's Crazy Horse Paris controversy, the female idol warmed fans and netizens' hearts after an employee belatedly revealed the celebrity's unrelenting love for fans and her work.

Earlier, a netizen who claimed to be working as a Celine store employee wrote an article on SNS featuring BLACKPINK Lisa.

In the post, the writer expressed concerns after revealing that Lisa was not in good shape when she saw the star in June.

At the time, the "MONEY" singer was amid BLACKPINK's world tour, "BORN PINK" in 34 cities in North America, Europe and Asia.

The employee described Lisa's appearance behind the camera, stating that she looked pale without makeup and that she'd been taking several headache pills at the time as well.

When one of the store employees asked about her health, the K-pop idol attested to them that she was fine.

However, a few days after meeting Lisa, the employee watched BLACKPINK's concert and sat down close to the main stage.

Contrary to her sick appearance when she visited the stage, the "LALISA" performer's aura was completely different and it seemed like she had a lot of energy on stage.

Seeing this, the employee believed that Lisa had done her best for fans who personally came to see her even though she was sick enough to take headache pills.

Fans who saw this expressed their concerns but also praised Lisa for her professionalism and wrote:

"Lisa was very sick, but I had no idea."

 "Lisa is so professional."

"It must have been really hard to dance in the middle of a headache, but it's amazing."

Lisa Recent Activities

On the other hand, BLACKPINK, which Lisa belongs to, celebrated its seventh anniversary in August and is in the middle of a contract renewal process with its agency YG Entertainment. The final announcement is expected to arrive this November, in time with the debut of its junior girl group, BABYMONSTER.

While there is no confirmation yet, there are rumors saying Lisa will most likely not renew her contract with the company.

In fact, earlier on November 7, an advertising photo of Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo was posted on its official BLACKPINK SNS one after another. However, Lisa's ad could not be found. With this, the suspicions that she will leave YG arose again.

In line with this, there are also unconfirmed rumors that she rejected a down payment of 50B won (37.8 million USD) from YG to sign a contract with a U.S. record label.

YG always appeared to draw a line on related rumors claiming that contract renewal with the members is still under discussion.
