While SONEs expressed high anticipation for Girls' Generation Taeyeon's solo return with "To. X," her recently released concept clip and photo drew massive attention for the "guy" she's with.

Ahead of Taeyeon's much-awaited return in November, the SNSD leader has been increasing fans' anticipation each day by teasing them with concept clips and photos.

On November 17, the soloist then unveiled "To. X" "From. X" concept photos and a clip, showing her with a guy.

In the photos, Taeyeon shared an adorable atmosphere with the mystery man, flaunting a sweet skinship with him inside what seemed to be a photo booth. They drew attention to their relationship, which reminded fans of a loving couple, hugging and touching each other's cheeks.

However, Taeyeon left fans with an intriguing clip, after "X" was seen sending her numerous messages, hinting at manipulation and gaslighting in the relationship.

At the end of the short video, "X" sent a meaningful message with an attached location link, saying:

"Let's meet and talk. I'm busy these days so let's briefly meet on the 27th. Come here."

The date on the message coincides with Taeyeon's solo album's release date which is on November 27, fans can't help but feel excitement about how the story will build up as Taeyeon releases more teasers about her comeback.

Earlier, SM mentioned that Taeyeon's fifth mini-album, "To. X" will contain the story of the proponent feeling the emptiness in an unreasonable love.

The title song with the same name will particularly share the end of a toxic relationship after the proponent realized that the other person was in control of her.

Written by KENZIE, the song will have the R&B genre that combines sensuous guitar riffs, rhythmic melodies and Taeyeon's delicate vocals that create a calm and cold atmosphere plus a chic mood.

Meanwhile, ahead of her official comeback, Taeyeon has been releasing teaser photos with a mysterious guy starting on November 6. At the time, only his shadow and blurred image were shown, but on the 17th, the guy finally took off his veil.

Upon his revelation, internet viewers, especially SONEs (fandom) immediately took to various social media platforms to ask about the "guy" for two reasons; (1) his outstanding visuals and (2) because fans were jealous of him being able to "date" Taeyeon for this comeback.

When fans saw his photos, people praised his stunning looks & physique and showed curiosity about him, writing:

• "Who's the lucky guy?"
• "What's the name of the guy? He's so handsome?"

Upon digging, SONEs successfully found out his name, revealing him to be Kim Hyeonjae, a model and actor from YG KPLUS. He's known among K-pop fans as he also starred in Hyolyn's "This Love" MV before. He's also on Instagram as @85_29P, boasting 94.2k followers.

On the flip side, amid praises to him, SONEs hilariously and unseriously criticized his role in the album, leaving comments such as:

• "I didn't allow this relationship."
• "That should be me."
• "Who is that guy? I envy him 'cause he can hug my girl."
• "Dump him, Taeyeon. You don't deserve him."

Meanwhile, Taeyeon's fifth mini-album, "To. X," will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. KST on the 27th. It consists of a total of six songs, including the title song of the same name, allowing you to enjoy Taeyeon's upgraded musical sensibility.
