aespa Chooses Giselle as Prettiest Member

On November 25, aespa, who just released a new album titled "Drama," appeared as a guest on JTBC's "Knowing Bros" to commemorate their comeback.

There, MC Lee Jinho brought up the time when Park Myungsoo selected Winter as the "most beautiful celebrity that he had seen in real life."

Winter then responded that she was aware of it and expressed her gratefulness to the comedian. To tease the members, Lee Jinho said:

"The other members must be sad."

Lee Soogeun then jokingly comforted the members by saying they don't feel sad because Myungsoo selected it, but leader Karina showed an affectionate heart by refuting it and explained:

"(We are not sad) because it's his personal preference. We respect that."

Hearing this, Lee Soogeun then asked aespa to become the judge of their own visuals, based on their beauty without makeup. Since they lived together in a dorm, they undoubtedly saw each other's bare faces.

Without hesitation, Winter picked Giselle and explained:

"It's Giselle. Her skin is so good, and sometimes, I just feel like her bare face is even prettier than when she has stage makeup on."

Lee Soogeun tried to set Winter up by saying:

"Aren't you trying to make yourself look prettier by intentionally making Giselle go out bare-faced?"

In response, Karina helped Winter with the prank:

"It's a mafia."

Meanwhile, even Karina agreed with Winter about Giselle being the prettiest.

"Her bare face is really pretty."

As for the youngest NingNing, she chose Karina.

Being selected as the prettiest aespa member, Heechul then asked Giselle who was the most beautiful for her and she replied:

"It's really hard to choose, but it's NingNing."

Hearing this, Heechul joked:

"Didn't you just vote for NingNing because she didn't get a single vote?"

Giselle laughed and denied it but Seo Janghoon fueled the prank.

"No matter who I pick, I'm relaxed because I'm the first."

Giselle Clarifies Rumors About Her Coming From Conglomerate Family

In the same broadcast, Giselle then shed light on the rumors claiming that she has a "golden spoon," a Korean term referring to a person born in a wealthy family.

Since her debut, Giselle was speculated to come from a family with a rich background.

Some of the rumors that surrounded her include Giselle "wearing clothes worth 10M won (7,680 USD)," living in Apgujeong as a child and moving to a house worth 15B KRW (11.5M USD) in Roppongi Hills in Japan," "having 60 golf courses" and "being the granddaughter of a chairman of a chaebol company that owns hotels and resorts."

Hearing this, Giselle clarified:

"There are almost no facts. I mean, our family is not that bad, but I'm not a granddaughter of a conglomerate that owns 60 golf courses, hotels and resorts."
