Multiple K-pop groups and actresses have been swept into controversy following allegations against THE BOYZ members that began surfacing on Tuesday.

The scandal initially centered around dating rumors involving THE BOYZ's Juyeon and two actresses but quickly expanded to include smoking allegations and claims of private parties with young female influencers.

THE BOYZ member Juyeon faced dating rumors with actress Shin Si Ah after fans noticed matching fashion items, jewelry, and similar social media content between the pair. The two had previously worked together on the short film "YOUNGYOUNG," which was screened at the Jeonju International Film Festival. Both Juyeon's agency ONE HUNDRED and Shin Si Ah's agency Management SOOP denied the dating rumors on June 10, stating they were "not true."

Juyeon was also linked to actress Roh Yoon Seo, with fans claiming they spotted the pair traveling in the same van to a Balenciaga show in Shanghai and sharing matching clothing items. Additional allegations included a photo of Juyeon's bag appearing in Roh Yoon Seo's hotel room.

The controversy expanded beyond dating rumors when anonymous social media posts alleged that multiple THE BOYZ members engaged in smoking and partying with young women. Members Hyunjae and Sangyeon were accused of drinking and partying with women, with evidence allegedly posted on Instagram Close Friends stories. Eric, Sunwoo, and Juyeon faced smoking allegations based on images that surfaced online.

The scandal widened to implicate other K-pop groups when anonymous posts claimed ASTRO members MJ and Cha Eunwoo attended private gatherings. One post stated, "Even ASTRO was there. MJ was handsome. We really had so much fun. He's so good at drinking".

ATEEZ's Mingi was also named in the allegations, with claims he attended parties while pretending to be a skincare clinic director. The anonymous poster wrote, "One of the oppas said that he was a director at a skincare clinic, so I was like, 'oh, I see.' But I really had no clue who he was then, but he was ATEEZ's Mingi".

ENHYPEN and Stray Kids were mentioned in posts alleging they participated in 10-hour gatherings with influencers. Screenshots claimed "THE BOYZ and ENHYPEN and Stray Kids... Wow, we hung out together for 10 hours. It was legendarily fun".

MONSTA X members Hyungwon and Minhyuk were connected to the controversy through allegations involving THE BOYZ's Sunwoo. Claims suggested Sunwoo was dating Hyungwon's ex-girlfriend, leading to tension between the groups.

THE BOYZ's agency ONE HUNDRED issued a statement on Wednesday threatening legal action against those spreading false information about the group.
