Late ASTRO Moonbin's New Memorial Space Shut Down by Fantagio

On December 3, Fantagio uploaded an official statement on ASTRO's official fan café announcing the closure of Moonbin's new memorial space in Seonunsa Temple.

According to sources, the long-term memorial was closed on December 3, at 8 p.m. KST. The agency also shared that the shutdown was concluded based on the opinions of ASTRO's fandom AROHAs.

"Based on the opinions of AROHAs (ASTRO's fandom name), we have decided to close the Seonunsa Moon Space (Moonbin's memorial) immediately at 8 p.m. KST, on December 3."

Previously, the Moon Space memorial was located at the Gukcheongsa Temple, which is near Namhansanseong. The space was then moved to the Seonunsa Temple on December 2, allowing fans to visit the late idol's memorial.

However, sources stated that the relocation news reached out to fans, who raised their doubts about the relationship between Fantagio and Seonunsa. Fans have also requested to put a stop to the exhibition of Moonbin's beloved items at Seonunsa Temple.

AROHAs shared:

"Fantagio declared that Moonbin's memorial space will be moved deep into the mountains, a travel of more than four hours away from Seoul and to display his items from his lifetime."

"Fantagio has signed a business agreement with a temple called Seonunsa Temple earlier in September."

Upon seeing the claims, Fantagio replied to the accusations and denied all information mentioned. It also shared that the relocation was due to considering the safety of visitors during the winter season and for establishing a permanent memorial for Moonbin.

"False information is being distributed indiscriminately across social media. Fantagio has not engaged with any kind of agreement or contract with Seonunsa, and we have no financial interest."

"The reason for the relocation of Moon Space from Gukcheongsa Temple to Seonunsa Temple was because of the visitors' safety in the winter and for inaugurating a permanent shrine for Moonbin. We relocated because Gukcheongsa is a branch temple belonging to Seonunsa."

Furthermore, Fantagio added that the relocation was purely out of good intentions to honor Moonbin. The agency also declared that legal action would be taken against those who circulate false rumors.

"Fantagio's executives and employees traveled to Seonunsa Temple and thoroughly prepared Moonbin's memorial by hand with their hearts alongside them."

"Please do not distort and incorrectly instigate the feelings of our agency's executives and employees towards Moonbin with lies. We will take strong legal action against the distribution of false rumors."
