Man Throws Taeyeon's Album in Front of Her at Fanmeeting, Idol Addresses Situation in DearU Bubble

On December 8, Taeyeon held a small fansign event containing lucky fans who earned their places at the meeting.

Earlier on November 27, Taeyeon returned to the K-pop scene with her newest fifth mini album "To. X" and the title track of the same name. Her comeback is one of the most highly anticipated releases this 2023, and with SONEs' love, Taeyeon decided to promote the album thoroughly.

However, on December 8, fans were distraught at the fanmeeting due to an alarming commotion caused by an attendee. According to fans who were present at the event, a man, referred to as the 49th person in line behaved strangely and threw his album in front of Taeyeon.

Afterwards, the man demanded Taeyeon give him her phone number. This caused a fuss among the audience and led the man to be dragged out of the venue by security guards. When the incident was over, Taeyeon checked in on SONEs' safety.

"I had some people who asked about Taeyeon's Bubble through DM. Taeyeon said that she wouldn't hide it, but stated everyone should be aware and careful to prepare for instances like this. Simply put, there was a certain man's turn in number 49.

Even though it was his turn, he didn't come right away. As we were all looking, he walked over to the desk and threw the album on it. Then he suddenly started screaming at her to give him her phone number.

From there, the security guards and manager stopped him and dragged him away. (Anyone could see that he looked mentally ill.)

Taeyeon then held the mic and asked everyone, 'Are you okay?' She tried to look after her fans and comforted us because the atmosphere became a bit strange. Taeyeon was worried he might come back to mess with us on the way home, so we told her we would stick together.

She agreed that we should head home in groups until we were safe. Taeyeon was so worried since the world was currently a mess."

Taeyeon then lifted the mood by mentioning that instances like this still happen after so many years in the K-pop industry since her debut.

"After that, she lightened the mood, saying that something like this could still happen even after 16 years as an idol."
