Top 10 K-pop Artists with Highest Grossing World Tours in 2023 According to Billboard
On December 12, Billboard officially announced its year-end list containing K-pop artists with the highest grossing tours this 2023. Fans worldwide know how much K-pop has evolved through the years and this is apparent in the successful world tours from our favorite acts.
Here are the Top 10 K-pop artists with the highest-grossing K-pop tours this 2023!
1. BLACKPINK
In K-pop acts, BLACKPINK led the list by claiming No. 1 and also placing at the Top 100's No. 10 spot. Billboard revealed that BLACKPINK had a total gross of $148.3 million USD, with over 703,000 tickets sold worldwide.
BLACKPINK also had a great year this 2023 throughout a total of 29 shows, proving their status as the world's biggest K-pop girl group.
2. BTS Suga / Agust D
In second place, Suga of BTS secured the spot with $57.1 million USD. The rapper also sold 318,000 tickets for 2023 and performed 26 shows throughout its course. In the Top 100, Suga placed on No. 37.
3. TWICE
TWICE completed the top three in K-pop acts. TWICE has reached ONCEs around the globe with their "READY TO BE" world tour and is met with positive feedback which only proved their influence in the music industry.
On December 12, TWICE also announced an upcoming encore concert in Las Vegas scheduled for March 16, 2024. This 2023, TWICE made $54.2 million in gross with over 345,00 tickets sold. Currently, the nonet has performed 18 shows in their "READY TO BE" world tour.
They have also ranked No. 41 in the Top 100 list on Billboard.
4. TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT)
TXT is the first fourth-gen K-pop group to be mentioned. TXT also claimed No. 4 on the K-pop list, while also attaining No. 54 in Billboard's Top 100.
This 2023, TXT managed to gross $46.8 million USD through 27 shows. They have also garnered a total count of 379,000 sold-out tickets.
5. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN rounded the top five for 2023's highest-grossing K-pop tours. On the Top 100, they claimed No. 58. This was due to a gross of $43.3 million, along with 440,000 tickets sold throughout 12 shows.
6. ENHYPEN
ENHYPEN continued the list by grossing $33 million and 336,000 sold-out tickets. The group has also performed 19 shows this year, which also contributed to their inclusion at the Top 100's No. 81.
7. Stray Kids
Stray Kids placed on No. 7 after grossing $16.1 million through 8 shows. The group successfully gained 114,000 tickets sold.
8. ATEEZ
ATEEZ claimed No. 8 through a gross of 13.9 million and around 103,000 tickets sold this 2023. They have performed 10 shows.
9. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM performed 9 shows this 2023, and this led to a gross of $7.9 million and 77,500 tickets sold.
10. NCT DREAM
With over 36,900 tickets sold, 4 shows, and a gross of $7 million USD, NCT Dream completed the Top 10 in K-pop tours.
