15 Most Trending K-pop Groups in December 2023: BLACKPINK, NewJeans, More!
The last month of 2023 is finally nearing its conclusion, and many K-pop groups have made the most out of their schedules by appearing in year-end events, as well as releasing special holiday releases, content, and social media updates.
To measure their popularity, the Korean Business Research Institute officially released its final brand reputation rankings involving all K-pop idol groups for 2023. According to the organization, data was covered from November 14 to December 14.
Here are the 15 most popular K-pop groups in December 2023!
1. BLACKPINK
This December, BLACKPINK claimed No. 1 with a brand reputation index of 5,711,207.
2. NewJeans
NewJeans claimed No. 2 with a brand reputation index of 4,938,338.
3. BTS
With a brand reputation index of 4,702,347, BTS landed on the No. 3 spot.
4. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN claimed the fourth place after receiving a brand reputation index of 3,769,086.
5. IVE
IVE completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,345,070.
6. BABYMONSTER
BABYMONSTER took No. 6 with a brand reputation index of 2,523,373.
7. RIIZE
RIIZE saw a brand reputation index of 2,289,164 for December, leading them to claim No. 7.
8. Stray Kids
Stray Kids saw received a score of 2,255,781, placing them at No. 8.
9. LE SSERAFIM
At No. 9, LE SSERAFIM took the spot with a brand reputation index of 2,202,603.
10. Red Velvet
Red Velvet rounded the top 10 with a brand index of 2,172,035.
11. aespa
For the month of December, aespa took No. 11 with a brand reputation index of 2,079,436.
12. BTOB
BTOB placed No. 12 with an index of 1,930,184.
13. EXO
EXO gathered a brand reputation index of 1,885,984 at No. 13.
14. Girls' Generation
Girls' Generation made it on No. 14 with a brand reputation index of 1,751,044.

Finally, TWICE followed clsoe No. 15 with an index of 1,737,053.
