I drink a lot, so I only manage with nutritional supplements." He attributed his weight loss to starting a business and humorously mentioned managing his voice with alcohol and cigarettes.

His revelation about daily alcohol consumption and the noticeable weight loss prompted some netizens to express concern, questioning the state of his health.

Returning to his YouTube channel a month later, Ko Ji-yong addressed the health speculation, stating, "I don't have any problems with my health. Lately, there have been rumors going around about my health, so I've been getting a lot of calls. I'm really fine. I lost 6kg, but after the controversy, I gained another 3kg."

From K-pop Star to Family Man

Debuting with Sechs Kies in 1997, Ko Ji-yong transitioned to a businessman after the group disbanded in 2000.

He married family medicine doctor Heo Yang-im in 2013 and welcomed his son Seung-jae the following year. Despite briefly stopping entertainment activities, he made headlines in 2017 for his appearance on KBS 2TV's 'The Return of Superman.'

While he seemed to have gained some weight since the initial concerns, fans remain uneasy about the sudden change in Ko Ji-yong's appearance, keeping a watchful eye on any further developments.
