The "LALALALA" singer has made headlines for his charity and historic feat!

On January 4, UNICEF's Korean Committee officially shared that Felix made a donation of 100 million won ($76,500 USD) to the humanitarian organization.

With this generous contribution, UNICEF revealed that Felix had become the youngest member of the organization's Honors Club in history and the first individual in 2024 to join the agency.

It also revealed that Felix had donated to the children of Laos, which gave support and aid to sanitation, nutrition, and drinking water. See UNICEF's full statement here:

"Felix, who became UNICEF's Honors Club's youngest member in history and the first member to join in 2024, is a well-known figure, recognized for his leading donation activities for the underprivileged."

"Specifically, this time, Felix donated funds to help the children in Laos, who have difficulties in growing due to poor drinking water, sanitation conditions, and nutrition."

"I participated in this donation because I want to share the love I have received. I hope that the children in Laos, who are suffering from contaminated water, poor sanitation, and lack of nutrition, will grow up healthy in a safer environment in the new year."

Secretary-General of UNICEF's Korean Committee, Cho Mijin stated, "It is even more meaningful that the good influence of Felix, who is loved by people worldwide, can be delivered to children around the world through UNICEF."

Cho continued, "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Felix for his warm sharing of great hope and courage to the children of Laos in the New Year."

Felix started his activities with the agency in June 2020, when he volunteered in a bracelet campaign. On September 15, 2020, Felix's birthday, the idol continued to give donations, including the organization's campaign to provide meals to children of families with low income.

"I think every child deserves a chance," Felix shared. "STAYs (Stray Kids' fandom) gave me strength, so I wanted to give a little love and hope to children in need."

In 2018, Felix also donated 50 million won ($38,500 USD) to provide aid and relief efforts during the devastating Turkey/Syria earthquake.
